Rimag Medical Imaging Center is an independent specialized medical institution for imaging examination and diagnosis.
Rimag Medical Imaging Center is an independent specialized medical institution for imaging examination and diagnosis.
Our imaging center includes the provision of imaging examinations and diagnostic imaging services in the imaging center, and the provision of operation and management services to third-party imaging centers or specialized medical consortium-type imaging centers.
We operate our imaging center services through three types of imaging centers, namely Flagship Imaging Centers, Regional Collaborative Imaging Centers, and Specialized Medical Consortium Imaging Centers, which together constitute our imaging center network.
In particular, we provide imaging and diagnostic imaging services through our Flagship and Regional Collaborative Imaging Centers to hospitals and other medical institutions and health management companies to serve their customers or directly to individual patients and other medical consumers.
Imaging exams and diagnostic imaging services typically include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), mammography, ultrasound, diagnostic radiology (X-ray), fluoroscopy, and other related procedures.
Most of our Flagship and Regional Collaborative Imaging Centers provide multi-modal imaging services. At the same time, we leverage our industry expertise to provide operational management services in the Specialized Medical Consortium Imaging Centers.
We build and operate our Flagship Imaging Centers in first- and second-tier cities in China, such as Beijing, Shenyang and Changchun. As of April 30, 2021, we had established and operated [seven] Flagship Imaging Centers. These imaging centers are equipped with advanced imaging equipment, often with capabilities that go well beyond normal imaging needs. For example, there are currently approximately 200 PET/MR scanners worldwide, including approximately 20 in China, two of which are installed at our Flagship Imaging Centers in Beijing and Wuhan. Our Flagship Imaging Centers also house a team of leading radiologists and skilled medical staff with an average of 20 years of experience in the field of medical imaging.
Benefiting from the advantages of these imaging equipments and professional staff, we are able to provide a wide range of high-quality imaging services to serve different customer groups. These Flagship Imaging Centers also collaborate with external research institutions on medical imaging research and development projects and provide guidance to radiologists and other healthcare professionals in our network of imaging centers on training programs, standardized policies and procedures, and sharing of best practices.

The medical imaging service company or imaging center under Rimag that has a medical institution license, providing one or more medical institutions with diversified medical imaging operation and management services such as professional skills improvement, operation management consulting, and information construction. This type of imaging center does not involve equipment configuration, infrastructure transformation or other services.
MR refers to a technology that utilizes a strong magnetic field combined with low-energy electromagnetic waves, processed by a computer to produce high-resolution, three-dimensional, cross-sectional images of body tissues. We offer MR/MRA-based technology for medical examinations of different body parts such as heart and head.
CT/CTA refers to a technology that utilizes a combination of many computer-processed X-ray images taken from different angles to produce a cross-sectional tomographic image that scans a specific area of an object, allowing the user to see inside the object without cutting. In particular, CTA utilizes the injection of contrast medium into blood vessels and CT scans to help diagnose and assess vascular disease or related conditions such as aneurysms or blockages. We offer body examinations based on CT and CTA technology, targeting body parts such as the head, neck, spine and abdomen, as well as targeting systems such as the vascular system and the urinary system.
PET refers to a technology of using radiopharmaceutical agents with a positron-emitting isotope and measuring the distribution of such isotope to create images for diagnostic purposes. PET scans provide methods to determine how metabolic activity affects other aspects of physiology in the disease process by correlating PET readings with other tools such as CT or MRI. In certain clinical situations, PET technology has been found to be very effective and appropriate for detecting and assessing tumors in the entire body, assessing certain cardiac conditions, and assessing the site of epileptic seizures. We offer PET-based examinations such as whole body PET examination.
X-ray refers to a technology that utilizes roentgen rays to penetrate the body and record images of organs and structures on film. We offer X-ray-based examinations for targeted body parts such as the spine, liver and uterus as well as targeted body systems such as the urinary system.
Ultrasound is a technology that uses sound waves and their echoes to observe and localize internal organs. Ultrasound is especially useful during pregnancy to avoid x-rays. We offer ultrasound-based examinations for [●]. [Company to provide]
Mammography is a specialized form of radiation that uses low-dose X-rays to view breast tissue and is the primary screening tool for breast cancer. Mammography procedures and related services help in the diagnosis and treatment planning of breast cancer.
