The head, neck and facial features group is a sub-specialty group of Rimag Doctor Group divided by the specialty of the head, neck and facial features, which focuses on the imaging diagnosis of difficult and rare diseases such as the maxillofacial, EENT and neck as its professional research direction, and helps Rimag Imaging Center and various medical institutions to provide consultation, training, teaching and other services for relevant diseases.

Subject leader: Yan Sha (Director of the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University, chief physician, postgraduate tutor)

Expertise: New technology research on CT and diagnosis of magnetic resonance for head, neck and facial features diseases, and CT and diagnosis of magnetic resonance for difficult and rare cases in EENT and neck

Social appointments: Deputy chief for head and neck group of the Chinese Society of Radiology, a standing committee member of the Radiology Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, a standing committee member of the vertigo professional committee of the Chinese Medical Education Association, a member of the Radiology Specialty Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, the leader for head and neck group of the Radiology Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, and an expert in medical malpractice appraisal of the Chinese Medical Association.

Achievements: He has been engaged in imaging diagnosis for nearly 30 years, diagnosing over 13,000 consultation cases annually in both internal and external hospitals. He is the chief editor of 1 book (Head and Neck Imaging - Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Volume), deputy editor of 2 books on head, neck and facial features, and has participated in the compilation of 7 books and published 54 papers as the first author or corresponding author (26 of which are included in Chinese Medical Journal or SCI). He undertook 3 key provincial and ministerial projects, contributed to the completion of 1 overseas cooperation project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, won the second prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award in 2016 (the second complete person), and was invited to participate in more than 10 national continuing education classes for teaching every year.
